After 20+ trips to WDW I have learned what are must haves. Crazy thing is some are strange and some are great things to have that you wouldn't think you would need. 

Magicband holder- So I'm always afraid I will lose my Magicband. I use these every trip and also on my fitbit just in case it tries to pop off.

Plastic Reusable Straws- Disney is cutting down on there single use products and are not using paper straws. I hate them so much. I have used metal straws but they aren't as great as plasic ones and easy to clean in a sink.

Back to Disney

So I'm going home. Being a Annual Passholder helps. Next week just me and my dad are going for our birthdays. Best part is that Mickey's Runaway Railway will open while there. I can not wait to ride it. Super happy about it. 

Character Couture Makeovers at Disney

 The best part of my last trip to Disney. Way better then BBB.

Lets start at the beginning. I did Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique right before they said no adults. It was alot of fun but made for younger kids. So when I started looking into the new Character Couture makeover there wasnt alot out there about it. Just could find the article that Disney put out(Link Below)https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2018/05/character-couture-packages-at-walt-disney-world-salons/  They do it at 4 salons at WDW, Ship Shape Salon at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Ivy Trellis Salon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Salon by the Springs at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, La Vida Salon at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. As soon as I read that i booked it. You book 180 days out of the day you want to do it.

I booked mine for Sept 23, 2019 at 9:00 am at The Salon by the Springs at Wilderness Lodge. I got to Wilderness lodge early so i could walk around there resort and explore. I was staying at Saratoga Springs so i took a bus to Magic Kingdom and a boat to Wilderness lodge. I got to the Salon about 10 min early. They didn't open til 9 so i waited outside. The Salon Styles was waiting outside while the host was getting the key. We started talking about what i wanted and what kind of look I wanted. His name was Justin.  As soon as we got in and set up he started with my hair. Justin asked what i wanted and i let him know i wanted half up and half down since i was going to be in the at Magic Kingdom for the day. I asked if he could put in some braids on the side and he did so. He curled my hair and I loved it. He asked I i wanted a crown and that it was an extra $5. I of course wanted one. Made it look even better. Next was the makeup. He used several different palettes like Colourpop and Urban Decay. I wanted a bit simple for my makeup light blues and pinks. I loved the look. I did get fake lashes. I had never had them before so I did like the added touch. He showed me a couple lip colors that I could choose from and I wanted a pink lip. This color is on of the Sephora lip crayons but i can't remember the color name. On top we used one of the Colourpop lip gloss from the Disney Villains collection.


I loved this hold experience. Oddly it isn't really known to a lot of cast members know about this. I was asked a couple of times from some about it. I would 100% do this again. This was the best thing I have ever done at WDW. This made me so happy and made me feel really good the hole day. With my discount, tips and tax this was only $106 dollars. Not bad at all. I did buy a shirt to wear for my look at Boxlunch so i could add a bit of a cute touch.  This was the best experience that Disney offers for adults year round. I say look in to it. Kids can also do this as well and its better then BBB.

6 Walt Disney World Trip Essentials

So I go to WDW at least once a year for the last few years since my parents became DVC members. This year I bought my own DVC contract. My next trip is October of 2019. The one thing i have learned over the years going there is a few thing I always bring and have and use every trip in the parks or room. In September of 2017 during my trip with my boyfriend we realized some things that we wish we had and even things that we did that we normally wouldn't bring. So stop rambling and tell me what you bring. Well hear is a list of things you wouldn't think about having on your trip. 

• Chrome Cast- Wait your at the happiest place on earth and your bring that? I know is sounds strange but as mainly times I have been to Disney depending on if you are in a room with kids or other family sometimes you want to watch something on Netflix or Hulu then the normal everyday Disney shows. I was there  during Hurricane Irma and we got tired of watching the same shows and movies on TV so we randomly brought this with us and watched Friends during the times we were stuck in the room. 
• Tide Pen- I have one of these  with me at all times. I am normally a mess so this help spilling things during the day or in my case spilling a tube of liquid lipstick on the sheets. 
• Clear bags- Going thru bag checks entering the park takes less time this way. I carry a backpack with a ton of clear bags in it with everything i need for the day.  Security loves this. I bought most of mine at https://amyssmallworld.com/
• Headphones- My son doesn't do loud and sometimes waiting in long lines for rides or shows keeping him from getting board i put headphones in his ears and put a screen in front of him. I hate while at Disney but keeps him from getting nerves from the loud sounds. 
• Fuel Rod or Power charger-  If you go to Disney alot invest in a Fuel Rod. This was the best 30 bucks i ever spent a few years ago. Unlimited charges that i can swap in the parks plus some other places have them.  But if your not like that and don't go alot just buy one at Walmart or Target that you carry during the day. 
• Power strip- I never would of thought about this til I relied how much stuff you have to charge everyday. There arn't alot of plugs in hotel room so your welcome.

Life Update 12/16/2018

Hello Blog Readers 

I have been away for a while now. That what sucks about real life. So 3 weeks ago i got in to a car wreck with my mom, son and grandfather. We are all ok. I have been very depressed though since and it has be messing with my head. Not been sleeping much as well. The car was totaled so my parents have to get a car soon. I have been working like crazy but i feel like i am failing at life every day. 

I am a Loss Prevention supervise for a retail store for almost 4 years now. I love what i do but during Christmas it is very stressful. I have now gone 3 weeks with out a shoplifter and it sucks. 7 more work days til Christmas so i am going to be crazy lady working til then to get some.
